We are from California so I yelped breakfast and found this fabulous locals place. Our Server Nidal, was so friendly from the time we walked in, to the time we left. The breakfast we had was fabulous home cooking!! Omelettes with biscuits and gravy.
We will be back!! So glad we found this restaurant. -

We went in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The place was fairly busy, which is a good sign.
I ordered a biscuit w/sausage gravy. My husband got the same along with the breakfast special minus the toast. The food itself was good. Everything was hot and freshly made. The hash browns were particularly delicious.
Unfortunately, they didn't seem adequately staffed to handle the volume. From the time we walked in until we were actually served our meals it took over an hour. Had this not been the case, it would have been a 5 star breakfast. -

This is a hidden gem. I had no idea they've been in business for 27 years. I had their fried chicken, black eyed peas and mashed taters with gravy. The chicken is outrageously delicious and tender. So much preparation can be sensed. I'm definitely bringing my family and friends. This will be a regular spot for me.

Tried this place out as it's right up the street from us and I'm glad we did. This is a typical greasy spoon, but over the years I've learned those are the best places for breakfast AND service. After visiting today I can say this definitely holds true.
The cafe itself is quite small and nothing fancy. The service was great! There was only one guy working the front and he was still attentive.
We each ordered the breakfast sampler (2 eggs, 2 cakes OR French toast, hash browns, and bacon OR sausage) and it was delicious. We both went the pancake route and added blueberries(75¢). They were SOOO good, I'd highly recommend! Was glad that our waiter asked us how we like our bacon, crispy or not, because we both like it different. And I saw some reviews on the hash browns looking "different" and while they do look different they tasted amazing! It was like all the good parts you scrape off the cast iron skillet.
We also ordered a side of toast and biscuits n' gravy. They were both good. Lots of butter on toast but still crispy and the only thing I'd change next time is to have the gravy on the side, it made the biscuits a little soggy.
Will be back soon! -

My family loves Easy Street Cafe. Great food, short wait, wonderful service. Super homey environment. I've been twice this week. It's Tuesday.
